What Does This Error Mean?

P2101 means the Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Motor Circuit Range/Performance fault has been detected. The electronic throttle body has a motor that opens and closes the throttle plate. The PCM compares the commanded throttle position to the actual throttle position. When there is a significant difference between the two, P2101 is set. Symptoms include the engine going into limp mode, reduced power, stalling, or the accelerator pedal becoming unresponsive.
